hired the company to sort our shop sale and post accounts, but after 6 months of contacting them and having promises over the phone of our accounts were next they finally agreed to give us our money back, no real customer service and lots of excuses.Tax Bees were very great to work with. Living overseas they dealt with my Capital Gains Tax (CGT) return on a property that I sold. Very professional company and answered all my questions promptly. All work was done via email and telephone. Throughout the process everything was explained clearly and with full details. They saved me money by dealing with everything in knowing what I could claim, allowances etc. in comparison if I tried to do CGT myself (which I tried beforehand) I would definitely recommend this company.Very knowledgeable, quick turnaround for CGT return.Fiona and the team were amazing. They were very welcoming and made the process of completing my first tax return very easy and stress free. Would highly recommend for anyone who needs help with their tax returns!I contacted Tax Bees as my accountant had calculated capital gains tax on an asset disposal and I didn’t think it was correct. The initial discussion with estimates during the call with James yielded the correct result. (My accountant calculated the gain but didn’t apply the taxation rule to it and I could have had a massive overpayment situation.) I found other components of selling my UK property, from Thailand, very cumbersome given UK parties involved- (Property agents, solicitors and even banks) seem very reluctant to proactively make telephone calls to their overseas customers in these modern times. Mine was a particularly tricky to calculate having lived in the property with my ex husband who bought the property prior to me meeting him. I contacted the proprietor James Dean after having suffered a major loss in my life, needing a competent income tax professional to guide me through a maze of issues. Nothing was too much trouble. I was treated with kindness and respect by the owner of the business and his two very able lady assistants, and my tax issues were resolved within a few weeks. My tax bill was significantly reduced. I did not find the charges I paid to be exorbitant, and in general, I feel that I got top class service from Tax Bees at a very reasonable price. Anyone needing a similar service should seek a quote from this company. I can only say that my experience with them has been a very heartwarming and happy one.I cannot recommend James, and Tax Bees, highly enough. My elderly mother got a Capital Gains Tax letter from HMRC which I only found recently and the payment deadline was approaching fast. James was reassuring and professional and sorted the issue extremely quickly.
